What We Do

Since 1966, Gloddaeth Holidays has been running holidays with a Christian ethos for young people from independent schools in the North of England and Midlands. We do this with the support of many independent schools, teachers, parents and volunteers.

During the school year, Glod Staff visit schools all over the region, leading assemblies, taking lessons, helping with extra-curricular clubs, speaking in school chapels and promoting Glod Holidays.

During the holidays, Glod Staff are joined by over 200 volunteer leaders to help run Glod Holidays at several different sites:

Our Summer Holidays  are the main events of the year, and focus on outdoor adventure activities for years 9-13 in North Wales and years 5-8 in Shropshire.

Our Easter Revision Week gives pupils studying for GCSEs, AS and A2 exams a structured revision timetable, subject tutorials and time off for fun and relaxation.

We also offer various other events during the year, such as our Reunion in the autumn, our Annual Getaway for 6th Formers and Christmas Conference for Students.
