Safety & Safeguarding
Safeguarding
The safety and well-being of every individual on our holidays is of paramount importance. As part of this commitment, our safeguarding policy is regularly reviewed and updated to keep it in line with the very latest best practice. You can find a copy of our Safeguarding Statement here. All staff, trustees and volunteers are required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), and to provide two referees from whom we take up references. Staff and volunteers receive regular safeguarding training and we are members of safeguarding charity Thirtyone:eight.
If you have any safeguarding concerns or want to report a safeguarding matter relating to the Titus Trust please contact our Safeguarding Co-ordinator, Rosie Dunn, on 0300 302 0145 or safeguarding@titustrust.org.
Safety
We take safety very seriously, and abide by a very strict code of requirements for all our activities. We hold an Activity Licence from the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority, ‘Titus Trust North’ #R1069, for Climbing and Watersports.
