Peter Gaskell
Team Leader
Pete was born and brought up in Somerset. He desired for many years to be a doctor in Africa and qualified medically from Bristol University in pursuit of this. However, since 2003, he has been ordained and working for Glod.
Josh Williams
Josh grew up in Sheffield. He studied Physiotherapy for a year before serving in camps ministry. He then worked as a children’s and youth pastor for a small church in a working class area. In 2025 Josh moved to Birmingham and joined the Glod team. He enjoys tennis, climbing, songwriting and spending time with friends over a good coffee.
Sharon Cavan
Sharon was born and raised in Durham. She worked for a range of employers from the BBC, to the House of Commons, to McDonalds, before finally joining the Glod staff team in 2009. She lives in Manchester and spends her spare time singing in a band called ‘Shimmy and Shout’.
Maggie Bullock
Maggie grew up in Worcester and then moved to study Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Birmingham. She focused on Art History, Sociology and Music within this interdisciplinary degree, and has since moved to Manchester to work for Glod. She enjoys singing, painting and catching up with friends over tea and cake.
Joseph Steane
Joseph was brought up in Oxford and went on to study Physics at Cambridge. In 2024 he moved to Manchester to work for Glod. He enjoys playing football, board games, singing Bass in choir, and reading classics.
Hannah Aubrey
Hannah grew up in York before moving to Edinburgh to study Biological Sciences. In 2025, she made the move to Manchester to start working for Glod. She loves to play hockey and enjoys getting stuck into all kinds of sports.
